These feature 3 3/8 npt ports for easy adaptation to an existing set-up. If you are pressure locking or cracking dump cartridge in delta or other dumps, this is an upgrade that is well worth the money."

To decrease resistance and wear on the dump, the dump is by passed so that the pressure flows past the dump without passing through it. This is absolutely the best way to plumb a single dump for hopping.
